Katelyn Collins, MS, ECMH

Katelyn Collins is an educational consultant with more than 20 years of experience. She began her career as a teacher and childcare director, giving her a deep understanding of the real challenges educators face every day. For the past 15 years, she has supported administrators, teachers, and teams as a consultant—helping them navigate everything from classroom behavioral struggles to staff dynamics and conflict resolution.

Katelyn holds a degree in Education from Duquesne University and a master’s in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified PQAS instructor and has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Alliance for Infant Mental Health as both an Early Childhood Family Specialist and an endorsed Reflective Supervisor/Consultant.

She founded Sunflower Education Group to create a welcoming, supportive space where educators and leaders can work through challenges, grow their skills, and make meaningful, lasting change together. At its heart, Sunflower is about connection, collaboration, and shining light on new possibilities.

“Over the past few years, Katelyn has supported me in multiple professional roles. She encouraged my growth both professionally and personally, and she has been a wonderful resource. I am alway impressed with her exceptional team-building skills. Katelyn brings out the best in everyone.”

— Brooke, Mental Health Coach
